9003 Extended Range Sheet Break Detection System
The
Model SBD-9003
Extended Range Sheet Break Detection System is designed specifically
for harsh industrial environments that require an extended sensor mounting
range. The sensor can handle the extreme heat and humidity of a dryer
hood and the high dust and debris of a size press or coater. It utilizes
a Class II laser light from the paper and can be mounted up to 60 inches
(1524 mm) away from the substrate depending on the color of the paper.
In appropropriate applications, the sensor can even be mounted off to
the side of the web. The system doesn't require reflectors and has an
easy one button set-up that is set to the background without paper.
As with any RYECO Sheet Break Detection System, the sensor head can
withstand temperatures of up to 350 to 400 degrees F. With the patented
air purge design, the optics are kept both cool and clean. All systems
come with a One Year Performance Guarantee.
